Third-year computer science undergraduate, after a ten-month exchange abroad.
I like problems where the answer has to be argued for, not asserted: search and optimisation, data and privacy, formal logic, authorisation design, and the small tools that keep a workflow honest. Most of what I publish is built the same way — the claim is in the README, the evidence is in the repository, and the tests run in CI.

I have also begun contributing to open source, with pull requests to several
upstream projects. My PR
to HighwayEnv, a collection of
reinforcement-learning environments for autonomous-driving decisions with over 3,000 GitHub stars,
was approved and merged. It replaced the U-Turn demo GIF with an episode from
a trained DQN policy. My SoloDisplay PR
added Shortcuts and Spotlight actions for switching display arrangements. The
maintainer approved and merged the code, then released it in v0.8.0.
In soccerdata, a football-data
scraping library with over 2,000 stars, my PR #978
fixed reads that failed when a team name contained a slash, such as Bodø/Glimt,
because the name was used directly as a cache filename. After the maintainer's
review, I moved the fix into a shared helper and applied it to ClubElo as well,
and the PR was merged.
In GitHub CLI, which has over 46,000 stars, I
reported that gh pr close <URL> --delete-branch could force-delete a
same-named branch in an unrelated local repository. I reproduced the deletion
path with tests. A maintainer confirmed it as a bug and kept the
issue open so that this separate
path gets its own regression coverage alongside the related gh pr merge fix.

根拠を先に置くソフトウェア開発を通して、実装の力を積み上げています。対象はスポーツ分析、制約付き経路探索、進化計算、セキュリティを意識した設計、そして実際のワークフローに合わせたツールです。ソフトウェアエンジニアリングとAIのインターンに関心があります。
OSSへの貢献も始め、複数の外部プロジェクトにPRを提出しています。GitHubで3,000スターを超える、自動運転の意思決定を扱う強化学習環境HighwayEnvでは、U-TurnのデモGIFを学習済みDQNのエピソードに差し替えるPRが承認され、マージされました。また、Macの画面切り替えアプリSoloDisplayでは、ショートカットアプリとSpotlightから表示構成を切り替える機能を実装したPR #16が承認・マージされ、v0.8.0に収録されました。サッカーのデータを収集する、2,000スターを超えるライブラリsoccerdataでは、チーム名をそのままキャッシュのファイル名に使っていたため、Bodø/Glimt のように「/」を含むチームでデータの読み込みが失敗していました。この不具合をPR #978で修正しました。メンテナーのレビューを受けて修正を共通の関数にまとめ、ClubEloの読み込みにも同じ修正を適用しました。このPRはその後マージされています。
4.6万スターを超えるGitHub CLIでは、gh pr close <URL> --delete-branch が、無関係なローカルリポジトリにある同名のブランチを強制削除し得る不具合を報告しました。削除に至る経路はテストで再現しています。メンテナーにバグと認定され、関連する gh pr merge の修正とは別の経路として回帰テストを付けるため、Issueは開いたまま残されています。
