I am also facing this error. It would be great to merge it but I see if a window is not defined we are not really setting it or creating a new one. So by default, it is as good as API not being available. Is there a way to create a window and have those apis?

Faced this issues when I try to deploy my react js application to vercel.
So fixed this using this simple way.
