The DropBot MicroDrop plugin automatically offers to update the DropBot firmware if a new version is available.
For example:
IMPORTANT: Insert DropBot test board before running full test suite.
From MicroDrop, it is possible to run all DropBot on-board self-diagnostic tests and generate a summary report.
The test results are recorded in JSON and a results summary is generated as a Word document.
The full set of self-tests may be launched as shown below:
Test high voltage output generator.
Measure capacitance of on-board feedback calibration capacitors.
Apply a low voltage to each channel one at a time and detect any shorts with other channels.
