PCL Local dimming

Hello!

In comparison with Pimax Play, sboys driver has noticeable lower brightness. Kind of same when I put local dimming to 100%. I cant seem to find local dimming setting in Sboys and changing it in pimax play does not do anything.

PS: Any luck on proper PCL profile estimation pretty please? :)))

The new 1.3.0 release has a distortion profile similar to the Pimax default but with better chromatic abberation. I would expect the local dimming settings in Pimax EVO to apply while my driver is running, but they do not seem to work. I will bring this up with Pimax at some point and see we can work out a fix.

I do agree on much better CA, but some area is blurry slightly off center and this is not happening on pimax driver, I will try to explain as best as I can.

Suppose from center to edge of fov of, say, right eye:

1. Clear from 0deg to 30 deg
2. Blurry from 30 deg to 40deg
3. Clear again from 40 to 50
4. Gradual blur from 50 all the way to the end of Fov.

Those deg numbers are arbitral, take it as in roughly half distance from center there is a short "strip" of blur.
