Runs portal acquisition as bounded cycles for external schedulers and defers a task when its final write collides with a large source-manifest commit. Deferred tasks retain their lease for a safe retry instead of crashing the acquisition worker or being marked failed.\n\nValidation: acquisition worker, CLI, and continuous-acquisition tests; Ruff checks.
