a custom dual motor electric scooter with a motor in each wheel and tuned regenerative braking for each motor
i wanted a passion project i could look back on for the rest of my life, something bigger than a one off build. most escooters run power through one wheel while the other just rolls, so i'm building mine with a motor in each wheel, controlled independently, with regenerative braking tuned per motor so both wheels recover energy under braking instead of just one. the whole thing will be open sourced when it's done.
this comes out of years of tinkering with electronics and pcbs, plus time spent coaching and building in robotics, where i got used to designing things from scratch. i want to show that im capable of this with this scooter build.
i already have a rough BOM that i had in mind a few days ago
