A clipboard manager that acts on what you copy. MaccyPlus is a fork of Maccy, the lightweight macOS clipboard manager, with an automation layer on top: rules, actions, plugins and a headless config CLI. macOS only.
brew install --cask roypadina/tap/maccyplusMaccyPlus keeps everything Maccy does (searchable history, keyboard-first, native UI, private) and adds:
- Rules with conditions (URL, email, phone, file path, color hex, image, text, regex, contains-text, source app, soft-wrapped, from a terminal) that match what you copied.
- Actions that do something with it: open as URL, open in an app, web search, reveal in Finder, open a file, transform text, run a macOS Shortcut.
- Per-action shortcuts and auto-run on copy.
- Plugins (declarative JSON or sandboxed JavaScript) with a marketplace.
- A headless CLI to manage all of it from scripts or AI coding agents.
- An agent clipboard API: AI agents leave values in your history with a label (which session) and a note (where to run it), shown on the row and matched by search.
Upstream Maccy is a separate project; see Credits.
- Installation: Homebrew, release zip, first launch (not notarized), build from source.
- Usage: popup, search, paste, pin, clear, ignore.
- Actions and Rules: conditions, builtin actions, per-action shortcuts.
