Sweep all 141 images for vehicle designs - #3

The spot-check table written on 2026-08-30 named five worlds and warned it was
"evidence that vehicles are present, not the list of where". That warning was
right. A full sweep finds 32.
Method, recorded because this file already documents two audits that overclaimed
from crops: every one of the 141 images viewed on contact sheets at roughly
one-seventh linear scale, 14 ambiguous ones re-cropped at 2x, one at 4x. Day and
night swept separately, because they are different paintings.
Two findings that justify the method:
- Sorgan has an AT-ST in the treeline that is invisible at triage resolution.
It was confirmed only at 4x. That single image is the argument against
trusting any "clean" verdict reached at thumbnail size, and it is why the
write-up refuses to call the result a clearance.
- Endor's night art carries the second Death Star; its day art does not. Two
paintings per world means two audits per world.
Three worlds resolved *toward* clear on closer inspection: geonosis and mina-rau
each have a dome-on-legs that reads as a craft at thumbnail size and is a
structure at 2x; utapau's aperture shapes are winged creatures and its discs are
landing platforms.
Also corrected two details the spot-check got wrong: the mimban walker is one
AT-ST rather than a group, and the hoth starfighters are snowspeeders.
The clear list is 38 worlds and includes most of the catalog's strongest
compositions — mon-cala, manaan, felucia, ryloth, umbara, tatooine, scarif,
takodana — so there is no tension between safe and striking here.
What the list is explicitly not: exhaustive, or a clearance. The magnification
used finds foreground and mid-ground vehicles reliably and does not rule out
small background craft among the 38. Before a specific world becomes a
screenshot, look at that file at full resolution. It is also not a legal
opinion — the attorney hour in item 6 is still the open question.
Item 8 ticked. hosnian-prime is noted separately: no vehicle, but it depicts a
franchise event (the Starkiller beam), which this rule does not cover.

Recorded in the file, because this document already contains two audits that

backdrop) viewed on contact sheets at ~⅐ linear scale; 14 ambiguous ones
re-cropped at 2x; one at 4x. Day and night swept separately.

Corrections to the old spot-check
Three worlds resolved toward clear on closer inspection —

utapau's aperture shapes are winged creatures and itsdiscs are landing platforms. Two details were also wrong: the

Not exhaustive, and not a clearance. The magnification used finds foreground
and mid-ground vehicles reliably; it does not rule out small background craft
among the 38. Before a specific world becomes a screenshot, look at that file at
full resolution. It is also not a legal opinion — the attorney hour in item 6
remains the open question.
Why it's useful anyway
The 38 clear worlds include most of the catalog's strongest compositions —
mon-cala,manaan,felucia,ryloth,umbara,tatooine,scarif,takodana. There's no tension between safe and striking, so App Storescreenshots can now be picked rather than guessed at.
