RestBell is an early-stage prototype for digitizing Maritime Labour Convention 2006 work and rest hour compliance on commercial vessels. It is built for ship operators, fleet managers, and DPAs who need to produce credible, auditable rest records before a PSC officer asks for them. The concept is not glamorous; neither is a detention notice in Hamburg.

RestBell is a single-application prototype with a straightforward frontend and lightweight backend layer. Data is modelled around vessels, crew members, and rest period entries, with violation logic applied at record time against MLC 2006 thresholds. There is no external data pipeline or third-party system wired up at this stage.
