Currently, the only example I'm running into issues with is the cross-compilation one from the Build System chapter. This is because the aarch64 binary that is built cannot easily be run on x86 Windows machines.
Windows does not have a binfmt_misc equivalent that I am aware of, but this is being looked into.
Windows support is looking good right now. I abandoned the effort of finding a built-in alternative to the *NIX file command as that seemed to be way more trouble than it was worth (for the famous cross-compilation example).
The best method I could find was using dumpbin.exe from Visual Studio Tools, however that did not seem feasible as it is not available on the system PATH by default, and making the end-user set that up is way too much friction for just one example.
