Neon raised Free plan storage from 0.5 GB to 1 GB per project, capped at 20 GB across all projects. Verified on 2026-10-05 and again on 2026-10-06 against https://neon.com/pricing and https://neon.com/docs/introduction/plans. Corrects three posts (the app-hosting comparison, the Prisma Postgres vs Neon pricing post and the serverless Postgres guide), the ServerlessPostgresChooser copy, and the pricing post's hero.svg and meta.png. The Neon alternatives post was rewritten in #8358 and no longer states a Neon Free storage figure, so it is left as main has it. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>

What
Neon raised Free plan storage from 0.5 GB to 1 GB per project, capped at 20 GB across all projects. Four posts still said 0.5 GB.
Verified on 2026-10-05 against neon.com/pricing (banner and plan table: 1 GB per project) and the plans docs (1 GB per project, 20 GB total). The 20 GB cap is stated only on the plans docs page. Unchanged on the same date: 100 CU-hours per project, 100 projects, 10 branches per project, 6-hour restore window capped at 1 GB, $0.106 and $0.222 per CU-hour, $0.35 per GB-month.
Changes
app-hosting-platforms-with-managed-postgres-2026: Neon Pricing line corrected, plans docs link added for the 20 GB cap, "as of" moved to October 2026 (every figure on that line was re-checked), Update history line added. The Sources table date (2026-09-29) is left alone, because only two of its five Neon pages were re-checked.neon-vs-prisma-postgres-app-hosting-in-one-place: Free plan table cell.prisma-postgres-vs-neon-pricing-2026: Free row of the Neon plans table, updatedAtset to 2026-10-05, andhero.svgplus a re-exportedmeta.png, which both showed "0.5 GB".serverless-postgres: glance table, the Neon "Free / entry" bullet (missed by aneonline filter), the FAQ answer, and a sentence next to the July 2026 check note saying Neon's Free figures were re-checked on 2026-10-05.ServerlessPostgresChooser.tsx: the Neon card rendered in that post said 0.5 GB.Left alone on purpose
prisma-postgres-vs-neon-pricing-2026line 93, "History window = 0.5 GB x $0.20": an assumed history size for a 2 GB database on Launch, not the Free limit.from-local-to-production-with-prisma-postgres: already corrected in docs(postgres): three-command migrate page and a 2026 refresh of the from-local post #8362.Checks
check-ai-signs.sh,check-plain.shandcheck-staccato.pywere run on the four posts. All three report hits, and every hit is on a line this PR does not touch (a thematic break, "deterministic", and FAQ fragment openers). Not in this PR
The pricing post's hero image shows "100k ops" for Prisma Postgres Free, while the post body says 200,000.
