msupdate PPPC MobileConfig still results in XPC Error

I have added the MoblieConfig to my Jamf instance and I am still getting the follwoing error when our policy tries to run msupdate --install

XPC Connection to updater invalidated. Exiting.

Maybe there was a change to one or more of the PPPC permissions that needs to be updated?

I've been running into the same issue. I found that if the user I sign in as via SSH is not the currently logged-in user, then msupdate throws this error.
