Two changes to the process list:

  • Edge to edge. The list is a plain table instead of inset cards, so each row runs the full width. The section header stays pinned while the rows scroll, so the column headings remain over the figures. The padding iOS 15+ adds above a plain section header is removed, and an empty footer keeps separators out from under the overlays. The iOS 26 glass sidebar keeps its clear rows and rounded selection.
  • Count under the title. "N processes · filter · Paused" moved out of the header into the navigation bar's subtitle. It uses navigationItem.subtitle on iOS 26+, and a two-line title view that looks and reads the same on earlier versions. The header now holds just the column headings, and it is hidden at the accessibility text sizes, where rows stack and have no columns.

Checked on an iPhone 17 Pro simulator (iOS 27) in light and dark. The pre-iOS 26 title view was checked by temporarily forcing that path. make check and make harness pass.

The inset cards boxed a table that is read across its columns. A plain
table runs each row the full width, and keeps its section header pinned
while the rows scroll, so the column headings stay over the figures they
name. The header padding iOS 15 adds above a plain section goes, so the
headings sit straight under the search bar, and an empty footer keeps the
separators a plain table draws below its last row out from under the
overlays. The glass sidebar keeps its clear rows and rounded selection.

"120 processes · Paused" sat above the column headings, and with the
header pinned it took a line of the screen for good. It is the navigation
bar's subtitle now: iOS 26 draws one of its own, and before that a two-line
title view reads the same and speaks as one heading. It stays blank until
the first sample, which would only have said "0 processes".

The header holds just the headings. At the accessibility sizes, where rows
stack and have no columns, it goes altogether.
