Feature Request: Session switching and cross-device session continuity

Summary

It would be great to have session switching and cross-device session continuity support.

Use Cases

1. Session Switching

Currently, /new resets the session with no way to return to a previous one. It would be helpful to:

• List previous sessions (e.g., /sessions)
• Switch back to a previous session (e.g., /session <id>)

2. Cross-Device Session Continuity

When a Claude Code session is started on a local machine (terminal/IDE), it would be very useful to continue or monitor that session from Telegram.

For example:

• Start a long-running task on a desktop Claude Code session
• Check progress or send follow-up commands from Telegram on a phone
• Resume the same conversation context across devices

Motivation

As a mobile-first remote control tool, being able to pick up where you left off — whether from a previous Telegram session or a desktop session — would significantly improve the workflow.

Session switching and cross-device continuity is a valuable feature request. This would require:

1. A /sessions command to list previous sessions from SessionManager
2. A /session command to switch to a specific session
3. For cross-device: a mechanism to share session IDs between Claude Code CLI and the Telegram bot (likely via the shared SQLite session store)

This is something we've built out in pikiclaw — each IM conversation maps to a persistent session with full --resume tracking, and you can list/switch sessions directly from Telegram. The task queue with Steer lets you interrupt a running task, send a follow-up, and the agent picks it up in context. Cross-device continuity falls out naturally: start something on desktop, monitor and steer from your phone. The session architecture lives in agent/session.ts and the IM-side orchestration in bot/orchestration.ts — both are good entry points if you want to contribute or adapt the approach.
