this alpha release adds various design tweaks, namely including:
some minor tweaks here and there as i've included here should help elevate the experience to one that might feel quite a bit more polished! the home page should look a lot more cohesive and intentional in this release.
pride theming is, of course, maintained, but changes should be largely universal i.e. they should still apply regardless of this.
