This repository contains the data behind OpenRift: Cards, rules text, sets, rarities, and the rest of the reference data the app builds on. Most of it is curated inside the app and exported here for transparency.
This is also where community contributions are welcome: spotted a missing card, a new promo marker, or a typo? You're in the right place.
Pick whichever path matches how comfy you are with this stuff:
- The easiest way is to use the contribute form on openrift.app. It walks you through the card fields, validates them and opens a prefilled pull request for you. No need to worry about git or JSON.
- Just want to flag it? Open a Card Missing or Card Incorrect issue and I'll look into it.
- The developer way See CONTRIBUTING.md for the file format, conventions, and how to validate locally.
If you're stuck or unsure, you're very welcome to ask in the Discord.
Once your PR (or issue) is merged, it will merged into the community card data JSON. I'll pick it up from there and upload the release bundle to openrift.app, where it enters the candidate-review flow before showing up in the app.
