Summary

emit base.d.ts when declarations are generated into a separate typesDir
preserve base.ts for monolithic/default output
resolve BaseResponse aliases without a stray .d suffix
document and cover both output modes

Node 24.18.0
pnpm verify
56 files / 302 tests passed
96.73% statements, 90.47% branches, 99.57% functions
