A shared Claude Code marketplace for Office Kit document authoring plugins. Install each document format independently. Skills and references live with the corresponding library; this repository manages discovery and distribution.
claude plugin marketplace add office-kit/skills
claude plugin install pptx@office-kitIn Claude Code, open /plugin → Marketplaces → office-kit →
Enable auto-update once. Third-party marketplaces disable this by default.
Updates are checked in the background at startup. Run /reload-plugins or start
a new session to load downloaded updates.
/pptx:office-kit-pptx Create a quarterly business review with charts.
The skill initializes a project, writes TSX, opens a view-only preview, checks its source, and exports an editable PPTX. Requires an up-to-date Claude Code, Git, and Node.js 22.18 or later with npm. No Office Kit repository clone is needed.

claude plugin marketplace update office-kit
claude plugin update pptx@office-kitReload plugins afterwards. Plugin updates affect authoring instructions, not existing projects' npm dependencies or lockfiles. Upgrade those explicitly. See Claude Code's update documentation.
Users migrating from the standalone office-kit-pptx skill can follow the
migration guide.
Standalone skills remain available for other agents from each source repository.
- Keep its skill and references in its own library repository. A single-skill
plugin can use a root
SKILL.mdwithout a plugin manifest. - Give the plugin a stable format name (
xlsxordocx) and expose only its end-user skills. Do not package repository maintenance skills. - Add a
git-subdirentry to.claude-plugin/marketplace.jsonpointing at the skill directory. This avoids downloading fixtures and source code. - Validate the marketplace with
claude plugin validate ., then verify installation and invocation before listing the plugin as available here.
The marketplace name stays office-kit, so users add it only once. Plugins
follow their source repository's main branch. Marketplace entries intentionally omit
version (and the PPTX skill has no plugin manifest): Claude Code uses the source commit SHA to detect updates. If explicit
versions are introduced, bump them for every plugin change or updates may be
skipped. npm package versions are managed independently.
See the plugin manifest reference and marketplace reference.
