Outcome

Adds a prominent, bilingual guide for Apple Watch runners who do not already use Strava and separates what works today from the direct HealthKit roadmap.

What changed

  • documents the recommended free private Strava relay for unattended sync
  • documents the zero-Strava Apple Health export → timed GPX → Garmin manual fallback
  • states the GPS, heart-rate, cadence, indoor-run, and Garmin→NRC delivery limits without overpromising
  • explains from Apple documentation why macOS alone cannot read HealthKit
  • links public issue Direct Apple Health source without Strava #2 for a local iPhone HealthKit companion and portable FIT outbox
  • explains how current private FIT output can be manually imported into other FIT-compatible services and why every automatic destination needs its own supported API
  • adds Apple Health, HealthKit, no-Strava, and Nike Running Club discovery terms to README and llms.txt

Validation

  • 25 tests passed
  • coverage 81% (80% minimum)
  • Ruff passed
  • Bandit passed
  • pip-audit found no known vulnerabilities
  • git diff --check passed

No health exports, FIT files, GPS routes, activity identifiers, credentials, or other personal data are included.
