I think this should be a system-wide check for how
operations/processes change the data item names. Not only is it
inconsistent, some functions also add special characters like #, / or (
which are big no-nos when exporting as individual files to disk.
For instance, when using the function Processing->[Experimental] Align
image sequence for a sequence of image frames, the name goes from:
"Name" to "Name (Align/Integrate - Integrated Sequence)"
This simply does not comply with directory file structures in Windows.
