The iOS app has been posting Watch movement recordings to POST /api/biometrics/watch-motion since ios#92, but core never shipped the route, so every pod answers 404 and the app shows "Pod can't store it yet". This lands that parked work, rebased onto dev.
Storage:POST /api/biometrics/watch-motion?side= accepts watch-motion-v1 and v2 files, refuses raw readings, trims stray bins and keys on side + start, so resending is safe. New table watch_motion_captures, migration 0035, renumbered from 0034, which dev has since used.
Archive:scripts/biometrics-archive gets a merge rule for the new table, so a resent night replaces its file there too.
Reading back:GET lists captures and returns the stored file, so training can pull from the pod. biometrics.getWatchMotionSeries serves it per minute.
Charts: Watch movement overlays the Movement row on Nights and Biometrics, and the week movement chart. It appears under Apple Watch in the grouped legend, and nothing changes without a recording.
New in this rebase: the night chart's Watch line now uses the same 5-minute buckets as the pod's bars, rather than per-minute points over 5-minute bars.
A recording is a comparison label only. It feeds no staging, scoring or hardware control.
Full vitest run: src/demo/tests/biometric-evaluator.test.ts fails its bundle hash locally, and fails the same way on plain dev
Six real recordings parsed through parseWatchMotion (up to 15,957 bins, 1.3 MB; limit 8 MiB). All are v1, so v2 is covered by tests only
After deploy: migration 0035 applies on the pod, POST no longer 404s, Send all to pod stores the recordings, and resending reports unchanged
Night and week charts show the Watch overlay on the pod with real recordings

Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Apple Watch movement recordings can now be uploaded and viewed alongside other biometrics.
Movement charts show Watch readings during sleep sessions, with a legend and per-night scaling. Watch data also appears in movement charts for supported date ranges.
Recordings can be listed and retrieved by side and date range; repeat uploads update the matching capture.
Documentation
Added reference information on Watch movement uploads, validation, retrieval, charting, and retention.
Adds end-to-end Apple Watch wrist-motion capture support. The change validates and stores v1 and v2 files, exposes upload, listing, file retrieval, and per-minute series APIs, applies retention and archive merge rules, and adds Watch movement overlays to movement and vitals charts.

Summary
Capture format and storage src/db/biometrics-schema.ts, src/db/biometrics-migrations/*, src/biometrics/references/watch-motion.ts, src/biometrics/references/tests/watch-motion.test.ts, src/db/retention.ts, src/db/tests/retention.test.ts, scripts/biometrics-archive/*
Adds a capture table keyed by side and recording start. Parsing validates and canonicalizes Watch-motion files, trims out-of-interval bins, and computes a hash. Storage supports creation, unchanged resubmission, replacement, listing, retrieval, and per-minute aggregation. Retention pruning and archive merge rules now include captures.
Upload, listing, and file retrieval app/api/biometrics/watch-motion/*, app/api/biometrics/watch-motion/[id]/route.ts, app/api/biometrics/watch-motion/route.test.ts, docs/biometrics-reference-imports.md
Adds routes to upload captures, list metadata, and retrieve a stored file by ID. Upload handling validates request origin, size, side, and file content. Tests cover valid files, validation errors, filtering, and retrieval. Documentation describes the capture and retrieval behavior.
Per-minute series endpoints src/server/routers/biometrics.ts, src/server/routers/tests/biometrics.watchMotion.test.ts, src/demo/handlers/biometrics.ts, src/demo/tests/contract.test.ts
Adds a biometrics series query that validates date ranges and returns per-minute Watch-motion data. The demo handler provides series data for each side.
Adds helpers to filter, bucket, split, and scale Watch movement readings. The movement and vitals views query series within configured date limits and display movement overlays and legends when samples are present. Tests cover helper behavior, chart output, and query wiring.
