Summary
Keep the dependency pins and patch the observed runtime and verification defects. Upgrading the entire dependency graph would obscure which changes address those defects. Dependency tests must resolve store sources rather than the editable checkout, and each suite runs in a fresh Lisp process to avoid shared test registries.
User-visible effect
History persistence refuses unsafe files and preserves damaged records. Foreground commands receive terminal ownership before executing user code, and the editor restores complete native terminal settings afterward. Captured reruns require visible confirmation of the complete command and cancel approval on other input or resize.
Supplementary native macOS probes exercised captured-rerun confirmation, cancellation, narrow-terminal wrapping, resize refusal, and terminal restoration. The portable release remains limited to
x86_64-linux; those probes do not establish a supported macOS bundle.nshell remains a development preview with a documented scripting subset. POSIX/fish script parity, an exhaustive terminal matrix, and a completed security audit are not release claims.
