plugins/connection-verify/connection/<number>.txt (or .json). Change the
folder/format in Configuration.
Connection numbers are kept in memory for the current server session, and
are bounded by records.max-in-memory / records.expire-after-minutes. Save
the report while the server is still running, and before the number is evicted.
Most failures are numbered, including nameless raw drops the server logs as
/<ip>:<port> lost connection: … (caught by the logging.network-drops
watcher). The only ones that cannot be numbered are handshakes closed so early
that the server writes no log line at all — some incompatible-version cases
close before anything is logged. If you do see a lost connection line with no
number, make sure logging.network-drops and logging.failed-connections are
enabled. See
Connection Reports.
