⚙️ NekoWeave Administrator & Configuration Guide

Welcome to the official deployment and configuration guide for the NekoWeave background music and audio marketing automation platform. This document covers initial system setup, license activation, and core feature configurations for system administrators and audio engineers.

💻 1. System Requirements

NekoWeave is distributed as a pre-compiled standalone executable developed with Python and PyQt5:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit).
  • Hardware Footprint: Minimal resource consumption. Fully compatible with standard nettops (Intel/AMD), mini-PCs, and touchscreen POS terminals.
  • Network: A broadband connection is required for internet radio streaming and real-time alert monitoring. Features a seamless transition to local playback during network disruptions (Blackout Proof).

🔑 2. License Activation Process

NekoWeave utilizes a strict hardware-locked licensing model (HWID). To activate the software (including the 30-day Free Trial):

  1. Launch NekoWEAVE.exe on the target machine (where the software will run permanently).
  2. Navigate to the Activation/Licensing window.
  3. Copy your unique Request Code (prefixed with NKWR-...).
  4. Send this code to our automated Telegram bot @Nekoweave_bot or via technical support email.
  5. The bot will instantly generate a cryptographically signed license file named neko.lic. Drag and drop it into the application window to unlock full functionality.

⚡ 3. Silence Detector & Audio Failover

To eliminate awkward silence in your venue due to ISP network dropouts or stream freezes, NekoWeave utilizes a real-time signal analysis loop:

  1. Open the Audio Engine Settings.
  2. Specify your primary Internet Radio URL or another network audio source.
  3. In the Backup Media Pool section, designate a fallback folder (e.g., a local directory on the drive or a USB flash drive containing MP3 tracks).
  4. Configure the Silence Detector parameters:
    • Threshold: Signal level (in dB) below which the track is considered "dead".
    • Duration: Time in seconds before the automatic failover protocol is initiated.
  5. How it works: If the primary stream breaks or the volume level drops below the specified threshold for longer than the set duration, the internal engine seamlessly switches audio routing to the local backup playlist without pauses.

🚨 4. Smart Alerts Integration (Air Raid Monitoring)

NekoWeave connects directly to national monitoring systems to automatically notify visitors of danger:

  1. Navigate to the Emergency System Configuration tab.
  2. The system automatically connects to the alerts.in.ua API architecture.
  3. Use the built-in filters to narrow down tracking to your specific Region (Oblast), District (Raion), City, or Territorial Community (Gromada).
  4. Enable the Voice Overlays parameter and specify the path to your pre-recorded .mp3 or .wav evacuation instruction files.
  5. System Logic: When an active threat matches your geographic filter, the program smoothly lowers (fade-out) the background music volume by a set percentage and automatically broadcasts the warning voice message. Once the alert is cleared, the volume smoothly returns to its original level.

📅 5. Visual Marketing Scheduler

The built-in scheduling panel operates on the principle of a professional Digital Audio Workstation (DAW):

  • Schedule Grid: Allows easy blocking of time intervals broken down across a 7-day calendar week.
  • Ad Campaign Injection: Allows administrators to integrate internal commercials, promo blocks, and audio jingles with split-second precision.
  • Priority Matrix: Ad injections can be flexibly configured to pause the background track, dim it (Ducking effect), or dynamically layer on top of the music.
