Heads-Up: Upcoming deprecation of /builds/driver CDN #593

Hi folks! Playwright ports are going to build drivers from source going forward, so we're not uploading them to the CDN anymore. Searching through GitHub you seem to be using that, so here's a heads-up: This will stop working for new versions very soon, and we intend to delete existing drivers in a while, too. I'll give another heads-up once we have timing for that.
I recommend you migrate to also building from source (see microsoft/playwright-python#3092) for something to go off, and distribute the build as part of your package.

Should be fixed by #615 and will get released as part of the next version.

/builds/driverCDN in the coming days, which means that users will have to upgrade to versions post-#615.fix: use PyPI wheels to get driver

Confirmed — the
/builds/driverCDN has now been taken down on the upstream side. All three mirrors (playwright.azureedge.net,playwright-akamai.azureedge.net,playwright-verizon.azureedge.net) return404 BlobNotFoundfor driver downloads.If you're on a playwright-go version prior to #615 (i.e. before v1.62.1), driver downloads will now fail. Please upgrade to v1.62.1 or later, which builds the driver from the
playwright-corenpm package instead of relying on the CDN.Also a heads-up: the repo has moved back from
playwright-community/playwright-gotomxschmitt/playwright-go— please update any references/imports accordingly.
