Description

Removes docs/handoffs/2026-08-03-index-share.md, added by #97. Its own header names crowdmon as its home and target:

Lives at: crowdmon/docs/handoffs/2026-08-03-index-share.md
Target: Claude Code session, crowdmon worktree

It is now committed there as mspinola/crowdmon#36, body byte-identical, so this is the other half of one move rather than a deletion.

Important

Merge crowdmon#36 first. Merging this alone deletes the handoff with nothing tracking it, and a handoff nobody can find is one that gets re-executed from scratch or not at all.

Why the location matters

The handoff orders analysis relating index flow to crowdmon's Swap Dealer fragility weight. crowdmon/tests/test_boundaries.py refuses an import of crucible precisely so a package cannot render a verdict on its own output. A work order for that analysis sitting in the producer repo invites it to be executed here, against the store rather than across the seam.

#96's own brief already drew this line, in terms: "Do not do the analysis. That is the companion handoff in crowdmon, and it should run against a merged, tested ingestion rather than alongside one." The ingestion is merged and tested; this puts the analysis order where that sentence says it goes.

What stays

docs/handoffs/2026-08-03-cit-supplemental.md, the ingestion half, closed as complete with its corrections inline. That one is genuinely cotdata's: it was executed here.

Docs only. No package code, no tests, no store shape touched.

Type of change

  • Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
  • Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to not work as expected)
  • This change requires a documentation update

Checklist:

  • My code follows the style guidelines of this project
  • I have performed a self-review of my own code
  • I have commented my code, particularly in hard-to-understand areas
  • I have made corresponding changes to the documentation
  • My changes generate no new warnings
  • I have run tests (e.g. pytest) and they pass locally
  • Any dependent changes have been merged and published in downstream modules

Docs-only, so the last item is the one that carries weight here: the dependent change is crowdmon#36 and it must land first.

…id it lived

Added here by #97, but its own header names crowdmon as its home and target:

    Lives at: crowdmon/docs/handoffs/2026-08-03-index-share.md
Target: Claude Code session, crowdmon worktree

Now committed there (crowdmon `48efb54`), body byte-identical, so this side is
the other half of one move rather than a deletion.

It matters more than filing. The handoff asks for analysis relating index flow
to the swap-dealer fragility weight, and crowdmon/tests/test_boundaries.py
refuses an import of crucible precisely so a package cannot render a verdict on
its own output. A work order for that analysis sitting in the producer repo
invites it to be executed there, against the store rather than across the seam.
cotdata's own brief already drew this line: "Do not do the analysis. That is the
companion handoff in crowdmon."

What stays here is 2026-08-03-cit-supplemental.md, the ingestion half, closed.
