I granted that permission on the 1.0.2 release.
The new 1.0.3 release is arm only, can you rebuild for x86?

I believe it is related to permissions. Can you try to "run as administrator" ?

Confirming this issue with Windows as well, even running as administrator.

I am not able to reproduce on my Windows 10 test system.

Will try on a laptop - maybe it has to do with network interfaces (eg. wifi and not wired ?).

Thanks Mark, I tested on Windows 11 pro. I do have multiple virtual nics but also an ethernet and wifi connection. I am really not sure what might be the issue. Thanks for testing it.

I can't reproduce, but I also don't have machines with many nics.
I'll try to find a Windows 11 and do some more testing.

I've made a new windows build with updated (mdns) dependencies, but I don't think it will solve your issue.

Also have the same issue on Windows 11 with 1.0.4. I tried disabling my Wifi adapter and using Ethernet only, but that did not make a difference.

Still download from https://github.com/mnellemann/mdns-explorer/releases/tag/v1.0.5 but the MSI file for Windows is updated.
