All GitHub data is fetched client-side from the public GitHub REST API (v2022-11-28). No server-side data layer beyond a placeholder API route.


Getting started

Prerequisites: Bun installed.

cd greposcope
bun install
bun run db:push   # sync Prisma schema to SQLite
bun run dev       # http://localhost:3000

GitHub token (optional)

Without a token, the GitHub API allows 60 requests/hour per IP. Add a personal access token in the Settings view to raise this to 5,000 req/hour. No scopes are required for public repo access.


Deployment

The app auto-deploys to Vercel from the main branch. Production URL: greposcope.vercel.app

To deploy your own instance:

vercel deploy
