Tidal includes duplicate albums at various bit rates in their catalog and uses the "high" (44khz/16bit usually), "max" (96khz/24bit), and other labels to distinguish between the versions. Right now it is impossible to distinguish which is which in the album results (see attached).
I always want to play the highest possible bit rate. Can the search results indicate this information somehow? I could even imagine grouping duplicate album names together such that all versions are under another navigation level. Perhaps even there could be a setting to always show the highest version and exclude others?
I doubt the Tidal API to retrieve the list of albums on a artist includes this information directly, but is it possible to retrieve this information by querying the album(s) in another call? This will have performance issues so perhaps a button in the app for the user to initiate the series of calls (and then show the labels)?
