Hi,
I had to change the extconf.rb to make the compiler pick up my handlersocket installation (installed with homebrew, so it ended up in /usr/local/include/handlersocket rather than /usr/include/handlersocket).
I'm not very good at producing makefiles so please review, and if useful, pull it in!
