Summary

  • recommend DeepSeek V4 Flash for fast, read-only exploration
  • retain Grok 4.5 for implementation-heavy sidekick work
  • clarify that the gitignored local config has developer-specific model choices
  • regenerate the changelog page from CHANGELOG.md

Why

DeepSeek V4 Flash offers the better latency and usage tradeoff for the high-volume, read-only explore role. Grok 4.5 remains the generic sidekick recommendation because that role owns edits and commands, where stronger agentic implementation quality matters more.

The bundled opencode-go profile is unchanged: it intentionally uses DeepSeek V4 Flash for both high-volume roles to fit Go's usage-based limits.

Validation

  • npm test — 182 passed, 0 failed, 2 skipped
  • git diff --check
