Feature Request: activate default project python/conda environment when launching a task

hi,
following this issue: #1040 I want to request this feature that even though it was a side effect, it was very useful.

Basically whenever I launch a task located in a project (.vscode/tasks.json) i want the default python environment of that project to be activated by default. this should happen whatever shell activation I have selected.

I find this critical. Many of the useful tasks one might have (running code quality checks, running scripts from the code base, etc.) need the venv activated and the .env file parsed.

This worked before and I think a significant regression from before the Environments extension.

same here, the auto activation works for me before, it's broken again. it just boom from idk which version. 😭
