Summary

  • Add a GitHub release badge linking to the changelog instead of a recent-releases list.
  • Demonstrate Alice and Bob using separate Linux accounts and home-directory files in one VM, below Configure networking in both READMEs.
  • Refresh installation documentation against published wheels: native Windows architectures, Linux glibc requirements, image download sizes, and image-stub behavior.
  • Update the core API overview and release-documentation guidance; preserve synchronized package READMEs.

Verification

  • Documentation build succeeds.
  • README synchronization and commit hooks pass.
  • Published release metadata, wheel architectures, download sizes, and the GitHub badge were checked against the actual release.

Documentation-only changes; no runtime or dependency-manifest changes.

Add dated PyPI release links, update installation and platform guidance, and synchronize package documentation with the published release.

Show Alice and Bob using separate home-directory files in one VM and remove the extra paragraph after the example.
