Hello, @fmedlin. Thanks. I figured out the problem right after using this project to submit a bug report to the Android Studio issue tracker, but I noticed your PR only now. I'm preserving the project as is it, as documentation of the Android Studio (now open and assigned) issue. I added some working and explanation to the README file. Thanks again. I think the main issue was the package name in the lib-resource and lib-ui manifests. Making them different seems to have helped. Good luck!
