For the past few months I've getting 2 attachments with emailed backups. They have the same file name (e.g., username_wrdp1_databasename1_20170304_851.sql.gz) and file size. I don't see any recent changes in the wp-db-backup changelog, so perhaps it's a compatibility issue with WP 4.7.5.
