updated flask_compress and print statements to Python 3

This is my start to changing the website over to Python 3. I got some of it to work, but not fully. This would be best in a branch until it works properly. I'm going to get into Python 2 to see where the site is at, but in the meantime hopefully you can work on porting over to Python 3.
