💡 What: Replaced an O(N^2) list counting logic inside a list comprehension with an O(N)
collections.Counterimplementation inkernel/examples/generate_public_proof_bundle.py.🎯 Why: Utilizing
list.count()inside a list comprehension on the same list causes an O(N) operation to occur N times, resulting in O(N^2) time complexity. Usingcollections.Countercorrectly resolves this to O(N).📊 Impact: Reduced duplicate tracking from O(N^2) to O(N), which becomes significant for larger lists of institutions in federated bundles, preventing bottlenecks and resource spikes when formatting error messages.
🔬 Measurement: Verify compilation and tests with
python3 -m unittest discover kernel/testsand check the file syntax.PR created automatically by Jules for task 12162892400867448110 started by @mapleleaflatte03
