Why

Trivy reports GHSA-6q48-6c7w-9gw2 (critical, published 2026-10-20) on uv.lock: certifi 2026.7.22 bundles emSign root CAs whose intermediate CA keys were compromised (affected: >= 2019.03.09, < 2026.10.19). The Security Posture gate stops every pull request on it.

What

  • uv.lock: certifi 2026.7.22 → 2026.10.19, the release the advisory names as fixed. Pinned rather than 2026.10.23, uploaded to PyPI a few hours ago. Regenerated with uv 0.12.18, the version quality.yml checks with; uv lock --check passes.
  • Hashes checked against PyPI's index; the release is not yanked.

A fix rather than an entry in SECURITY-EXCEPTIONS.toml: there is nothing to accept. Same change as maksimtech/mailradar#64. Once merged, the other open PRs pass the gate after updating their branch.
