The data pipeline (ingestion, extraction, OCR, audits, source data and their tests) moves to a private repository; it stays in this repository's history. What remains is what GitHub Pages needs: docs/, the page build and its workflow, the site's Playwright tests, the licences, citation metadata, METHODOLOGY.md and STATUS_AUDIT.md. Site links to pipeline files become plain text; README, CITATION.cff and .zenodo.json say where the pipeline lives. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

From now on this public repository holds only what GitHub Pages needs. The data pipeline (ingestion, extraction, OCR, audits, source data, Python tests on official texts) moves to the private
lszoszk/generalcomments-pipeline. That repo already has this repository's full history, every branch and tag included, up tof9b2553.What stays (240 files):
docs/(site + published data),build_static_pages.pyandpages.yml, the site's Playwright tests (tests/*.ts,*.mjs, contracts),package*.json, Playwright configs,.githooks/,scripts/stamp-cache-buster.sh,test.yml, README, LICENSE, LICENSE-DATA, NOTICE, CITATION.cff,.zenodo.json,codemeta.json, METHODOLOGY.md, STATUS_AUDIT.md.What goes (4,896 files): all pipeline scripts,
json_jurisprudence/,json_data/,json_labeled_v2/,mysite_pythonanywhere/,tests/python/,link-check.yml(now runs in the private repo), the PythonAnywhere app,redirector/,img/, planning notes. They remain in this repository's history; history is not rewritten. Also in this PR:
PUBLIC_FILESlists what may be tracked;public-files.ymlfails any push that adds something else, or any Python except the page build..zenodo.jsonsay the pipeline is kept privately ("open-source" dropped from the descriptions).Checked:
build_static_pages.pybuilds all 6,111 documents from the remaining files; the Chromium suite passes (135 + 1 timeout that passes on repeat); the allowlist accepts all 240 files and rejects pipeline scripts, Python tests, source data and.pyunderdocs/.Not affected: the live site's content, the API on the VM (it builds from a local
docs/), MCP. Forks and Zenodo keep their copies.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
