Adds a visible record of what was added to the database, and what was checked and left out, starting today.

  • Footer chip: "Data updated 13 Oct 2026 · +8 new". The date is the later of the API build date and the newest log entry; the count is documents added in the last 30 days. Clicking it opens About and scrolls to the log.
  • About › Methodology › Update log: a scrollable list, newest first.
    • Each document added since 13 October 2026: date, symbol (opens the reader), title and body.
    • Each document reviewed and not added, with the reason. Today that is A/80/115, a Secretariat note pointing to reports already in the database.
  • Data: docs/updates/log.json, written by build_feeds.py in the pipeline after every corpus change. Additions come from firstAddedAt; rejections come from the hand-kept mysite_pythonanywhere/not_added.json.

Tested

  • Local preview: the chip renders, clicking it opens the log, the symbol link opens #documents/cerd-c-gc-40, and the not-added row shows its reason.
  • Full chromium suite: 136 passed, 1 skipped.

… data update

- Footer: "Data updated 13 Oct 2026 · +8 new" — the later of the API build date and the newest log entry,
and the documents added in the last 30 days. It opens the log.
- About > Methodology: "Update log", a scrollable list, newest first, of every document added since
13 October 2026 (date, symbol linking to the reader, title, body) and every document reviewed and not
added, with the reason. Read from docs/updates/log.json, which the pipeline writes with the feeds.
- app.js / app.css ?v=20261013-log.
