The Linuiz Project does not support GitHub's decisions to scrape all of the code hosted on its platform for usage within large language models (LLMs). The environmental, community, psychological, and economic impact of LLMs is far beyond what such a largely pointless and wasteful technology should merit. Technology, and its accompanying software, should strive to solve the problems of our society, rather than creating entirely new systemic risks for us all.
