Crestron

Overview

The Crestron module provides the following features,

Simple integration and installation via a Linn provided Crestron IPP module
Seamless integration between Crestron and Linn (OpenHome) allowing the use of a Crestron UI, Linn Kazoo, BubbleDS, or other OpenHome control points.
Support for AV installations, such as Kaleidescape, through volume and source switching modules
Support for cloud and local music through modules for browsing and searching Tidal, Qobuz, TuneIn, Kazoo Server and Minim Server
Multi-room audio; support for dynamic grouping of rooms
Support for resolution of TMPC-4SMD
Available for Crestron 3-series ^ 4-Series processors and Core 3 GUIs
Installable as part of Kazoo Server (4.9.35 or later) on any Mac, Windows or QNAP server
** Note: PIN functionality requires Kazoo Server 4.10.11 or later installed)
Tested with a 10 DS and 4 controller setup (from a single Crestron 3-series processor); If your install is larger, please get in touch for more information

Getting started

The Crestron solution requires some Crestron modules as well as an updated Kazoo Server (v4.9.35 or later). Kazoo Server acts as the interface between the Crestron module and the Linn DS as is a basic requirement for operation. PIN functionailty require Driver V4.1.68 and Kazoo Server v4.10.11 or later to be used

The Crestron modules and installation guide are included as a single zipped file and Kazoo Server is provided as an installer for Windows, Mac and QNAP.

Kazoo Server with support for custom install systems, v4.9.35 or greater, can be obtained from the Linn website or by updating an existing Kazoo Server installation. This is also available from the QNAP Store
