## A universal AI Agent framework for blockchain, business, and research automation.

This goal of this project is to build the world's most versatile AI Agent with algorithmic trading and fraud detection datasets at its core. We give you: Carbon Bot. 

## Maturity

Carbon Bot has evolved far beyond its origins as a trading focused tool. The project is now a modular, open source AI agent platform designed to power intelligent automation across multiple verticals — from blockchain operations to legaltech, fraud detection, finance tooling, RAG research systems, privacy and safe AI experimentation.

At its core, Carbon Bot is a multi-agent architecture that integrates on-chain execution, off-chain reasoning, privacy preserving data pipelines, and customizable agent behaviors. Developers can assemble and deploy specialized agent contracts that operate autonomously or in collaboration, each backed by specialized LLMs and toolchains.

This makes Carbon Bot suitable for blockchain hackathons, AI safety research sprints, data and fraud challenges, education hackathons, gaming tool builds, regional LLM model challenges, and much more.

## The vision

Carbon Bot is an open source AI Agent framework designed to deploy specialized autonomous agents across multiple verticals including AI safety research, legaltech, fraud detection, payment flows, KYC automation, EdTech, gaming, and blockchain operations. Originally a secure SPL token distribution toolkit, Carbon Bot has evolved into a modular multi agent system where each agent uses dedicated LLM models, tools, and reasoning loops. 

The framework now also includes end-to-end smart contract development and orchestration, demonstrated by our recent build of four production ready contracts during ETH Global. This architecture enables rapid creation of domain specific bots and on-chain systems for hackathons, grants, and production environments — from dispute resolution engines, to automated payment rails, to personalized learning assistants — all powered by a unified infrastructure.
