OCPP won't report connectors correctly

Describe the bug
After uninstalling and reinstalling with a replacement charger, theconnector statuses are incorrect

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Uninstall OCPP chargepoint and central station
2. Remove the repo from HACS
3. Reinstall from above
4. Observe logs and connector status is stuck on Preparing

Expected behavior
The connector is not plugged in. Should not be preparing.

I dont recall there ever being multiple connectors in the logs. Can't be certain though.

My charger has one cable and when unplugged never showed Preparing before.

I'm suspecting some remnants of the old charger set up but I tried to remove the entire integration, devices etc. I also did a charger physical power cycle.
