The Ktor 3.6.0 dependency update in #19 failed because the server now returns an EmbeddedServer rather than ApplicationEngine. Update the stored server type and adopt Dependabot's regenerated dependency lockfile.
Netty 4.2 also introduces duplicate resources across native platform JARs. Merge license notices so they remain in the APK, and omit Netty's GraalVM native-image metadata, which Android does not use.
Validation: 167 local Python tests passed. All five hosted checks passed on cc32e8c: Python 3.11–3.14, Android unit tests, lint, and APK build (run 37358056260). The main-only debug publication job was correctly skipped on this PR. No physical-device or live relay smoke test was performed.
Supersedes #19. The separate Gradle 9.8 / AGP 9.4.1 proposals (#20 and #21) require a coordinated toolchain migration and are not included here.
