Summary

  • close the managed Euporie pane and kernel immediately when the final Vim exits, including during startup races
  • suppress only the terminal capability probes whose tmux passthrough responses can land in the active Vim pane, while retaining Kitty graphics passthrough
  • enable CurveZMQ kernel transport when supported and keep kernel/Euporie diagnostics out of the interactive pane
  • support both Euporie 2.x and its newer apptk-based output layer

Validation

  • tests/run.sh
  • Ruff check and formatting
  • Vint over plugin, autoload, and Vim tests
  • Debian Bookworm container with Vim 9.0
  • live Vim-in-tmux integration test using the current Ghostty environment:
    • state reported Curve transport
    • no Ghostty, Kitty query, or plaintext transport warning leaked into Vim
    • Python output and Matplotlib Kitty-Unicode graphics rendered in Euporie
    • normal quit and a quit 100 ms into startup both removed pane, sidecar, and kernel
