Operational detail sat between the sections that argue the project is worth reading. A reader deciding whether to trust the benchmark had to page past command tables to reach the separability finding and the limitations. Nothing is deleted, every block moved whole, and a one-line pointer marks where each went.

What moved

To packages/eval/README.md (appended, existing content untouched):

  • the "What gets measured" metric table and its breakdown prose
  • "Deciding which prediction is which label" in full
  • the guard paragraph on refusing to score stale or partial runs

To CONTRIBUTING.md:

  • the "Running it" command table, placed next to "Before you push"
  • the split paragraph on not reading test while iterating
  • the document index table and the Layout block

Verified programmatically: every non-heading line of all seven moved blocks is present in its destination, 0 missing.

What stayed

Root README, in the requested order: Findings, live link, Status and scope, The corpus with its details block, Why supersession is the metric worth having, Corpus separability, Grounding, Cost-weighted error, Limitations, License.

Cost-weighted error was a ### subsection of "What gets measured", which moved, so it is promoted to a top-level section. It keeps all five weight rows.

The three protected sections are unchanged to the line:

Section Before After
Corpus separability 82 lines 82 lines
Limitations 66 lines 66 lines
Cost-weighted error table 5 weights 5 weights

Figures

All 26 remaining figures re-checked against live pnpm stats, pnpm eval and pnpm separability output. 26 of 26 match.

One figure was stale and is corrected in the moved command table: pnpm test runs 229 tests, not 214.

Verification

  • pnpm validate: 200 threads, 273 loops, 510 spans, all resolve. PASS
  • pnpm check: 229 tests passing
  • No em or en dashes introduced in any of the three files

README: 404 lines to 308.

Operational detail sat between the sections that argue the project is
worth reading, so a reader working out whether to trust the benchmark
had to page past command tables to reach the separability finding and
the limitations. Nothing is deleted. Every block moved whole, and a
one-line pointer marks where each went.

To packages/eval/README.md:
the "What gets measured" metric table and its breakdown prose
"Deciding which prediction is which label" in full
the guard paragraph on refusing stale or partial runs

To CONTRIBUTING.md:
the "Running it" command table, next to "Before you push"
the split paragraph on not reading test while iterating
the document index table and the Layout block

"Cost-weighted error" was a subsection of "What gets measured", which
moved, so it is promoted to a top-level section and keeps its full
five-row weight table in the root README.

Corpus separability stays at 82 lines and Limitations at 66, both
unchanged to the line, and the cost table keeps all five weights. Those
three carry the credibility of the document and were not touched.

One figure was stale and is corrected in the moved table: pnpm test now
runs 229 tests, not 214.

Every remaining figure was re-checked against live pnpm stats, pnpm
eval and pnpm separability output: 26 of 26 match. pnpm validate passes
with 200 threads, 273 loops and 510 spans all resolving, and pnpm check
passes with 229 tests.

README goes from 404 lines to 308.
