I run Tissue Systems on my own, and I write the code for both of its products.
Tissue Cloud runs a JavaScript or WebAssembly function on a live URL, with a SQL database, object storage and cron attached. Tissue Mast is uptime monitoring that rings your phone until you answer. Our own servers page me through it.
Before this I spent five years at Cloudflare on egress addressing, SMTP and DLP, built Barracuda's email security gateway as a founding engineer, and wrote compilers and analysis tools before that.
Open source I wrote:
- walship: ships libSQL WAL frames to a warm replica on another machine
- caddy-rqlite-storage: one shared certificate store for a fleet of Caddy servers
- ssrf-guard: fetch a URL a stranger gave you without letting it reach your private network
- hoptrace: an mtr-style path trace that runs without root
- mast-clients and hass-mast: send a Mast page from code or from Home Assistant and wait for the answer
- truenas-ups: a 12V battery as a UPS for TrueNAS
KI7KLT is my callsign, and Mast can ring you for HamAlert spots.
