Superseded by #210, which preserves the same six effort-icon commits and includes the additional review fixes for narrow layout, custom effort labels and high-contrast rendering. Closing this duplicate so integration carries the complete fix once. |

Restores the six responsive effort-icon/layout composer commits (4a42140, 5c5f1ac, aad9a03, fa7824c, e5ab49e, bd90c68) onto current main; omitted by the last integration deployment.
