- Bumps Gradle wrapper from 6.5 to 8.7. - Upgrades Android Gradle Plugin from 4.1.0 to 8.5.0. - Sets `compileSdk` to 35 and `minSdkVersion` to 25. - Replaces `jcenter()` with `mavenCentral()`. - Adds Java 1.8 compatibility options.
